Lauren is SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cant believe it...but it came and we celebrated all week.

"Mom, where are we going? Are you getting the car ready?"

"YES! We are going on a ride!!"

"Gosh its pretty here, what a nice picnic"

"I love you tennis ball"

"Thanks alot tennis ball, I fell in the pool"

"Mommy helped me pic out this toy, I think she likes it more than I do, but its cute"

"Daddy picked out this bison, it doesnt even squeek, but I still like it, and it looks like Riley too!"

"Mommy got me this piggy, he's fun to play with"

"This is my favorite toy of all, (its my second one), It lights up and makes crazy noises when it bounces"

"Mommy threw me a bbq on Saturday and some of her friends came over but she forgot to take pictures, we had fun though. After everyone left Mommy and I watched Best in Show, its a move we both love"

"I was pooped on Sunday, so Mommy went to a spin/knit day in Squaw Vally, she said she had fun"

What is the greatest thing to come home to after a long day at work?











That's right, totally unexpected package in the mail with beautiful Alpaca/Tencel sock yarn. Given to me by a non-knitter. Great choice and enough for 2 pairs of socks! How cool is that? A wonderful pick-me-up. I love getting packages in the mail, even if it is just a really thick envelope. (I'm easy to please I guess)

Ok Kirk and April are you happy?

Here is the story:
April posted record breaking fish pics on her blog and the fishermen at my work said "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT PICTURE", exactly in that way I might add. I said, "Not telling you". They said "Come on, we've been looking for that pic". I said "a knitting blog". They said, "WHAT! Well you need to have a fishing picture on yours then"

Sooooo, long story short, here is Kirk pre-fishing (approx 6.5#). No he did not actually catch this at the real tournament (his troller motor broke, likely story :))
